Why did so many people take my last Birthday journal so hard? As if I was trying to be a total dickhead of some kind?
Lemme explain this to you, once more: I, was, fucking, joking.
And I'm really getting sick of having to explain this, ALL the time. I'd do it to them individually, but since there's a fair amount, I'll do a journal.
Now let me explain my view on Birthdays.
To me, they are just another day of the year.
Now before you all start with your typical fucking hating of anything I have an opinion on, because I'm such a bad bad man, let me tell you why.
Nothing, changes. Nothing, ever, changes, except for one day, you seem to be the main event.
I for one do not like a lot of attention (IRL, the internets don't count) and an entire day dedicated to me? That's something I'd like to avoid.
And besides, so what if I was born 20 years ago today? What's so awesome about it? I was brought into this earth through my mother, just like most other folk. I'm nothing special. Why waste money and time on me with a birthday party of any kind, especially when I don't really want one?
Now my family knows this now and tends to keep everything small. I don't want the attention for the day, I don't really want any presents, because I feel I've not really done anything to deserve them and I tend to always try to pay people back for them. And that's what this year's b-day party was. A simple family gathering, not much attention being paid to just me, everyone talking, meeting people they haven't seen in a while. THAT'S what I wanted for my b-day. Not some big-ass party where everyone goes nuts just because you aged another year. Parties aren't my kind of game. I hate them. Besides, who could I invite? The toys upstairs don't even want to talk to me anymore.
I currently don't like my life out of it's current skedual, because I enjoy myself. I have fun on Maple Story, I have fun talking to people on MSN, I have fun drawing, I have fun playing games.
And if you think I'm sad and I don't have a life, would you rather I was a drunkard, without an education, stuck in a dead end job with very little pay, which I use to drink some more, fight with anything with, or without, a pulse, give abuse to my family and fans, and constantly have a high risk of putting myself in prison?
Because that's the life of 60% of Scotland.
